Saskatchewan Censuses 1916-1926

From 1851 to 1901, a Canadian census occurred every 10 years; this was confirmed by the British North America Act, also known as the Constitution Act, 1867. The original purpose of the census was to help determine parliamentary representation based on population. The first census of the Dominion of Canada was taken in 1871.
